Stampotique meets Less is more part five

Dit is de vijfde en laatste Less is more challenge die door Stampotique gesponsord wordt. Deze keer is de opdracht om de LIM header als inspiratie voor je inzending te gebruiken. Stampotique designer’s challenge “Out of the box”

Vandaag is het alweer tijd voor een nieuwe Stampotique designer’s challenge. Deze keer is de opdracht om “out of the box” te denken en werken, iets te doen waarbij je uit je “comfortzone” moet. Voor mij was meteen duidelijk dat het dan een artjournal pagina moest worden. Hoewel ik het hartstikke leuk vind om te artjournallen, moet ik mezelf toch nog steeds over de drempel van de witte pagina heen helpen. Raar dat dat zo anders werkt dan wanneer ik met een wit stuk papier een kaart wil maken 🙂 Voor deze pagina in mijn kleine artjournal heb ik deze Stampotique stempels gebruikt: Spiraling out of control, Oscar Wilde en Scooter girl. Haal je Stampotique stempels tevoorschijn en ga aan de slag. Als je meedoet aan de challenge kun je zoals altijd een tegoedbon van 30 dollar winnen waarmee je Stampotique stempels kunt uitzoeken. Today it’s time for another Stampotique designer’s challenge.  The challenge is to think “out of the box”, make something that forces you to leave your comfortzone and regular style. For me it was clear it had to be a artjournalpage. Although I love to work in my artjournal, I still have to help myself over the fear of a white and empty page each and every time. Strange that it somehow feels so different from starting a card with a white piece of paper 🙂 I made this page in my small artjournal using these Stampotique stamps: Spiraling out of control, Oscar Wilde and Scooter girl. So get your Stampotique stamps out and start creating. As always you can win a 30 dollar giftcertificate if you enter the challenge and use Stampotique stamps only. Crazy amigo’s “Scrapcard”

Deze week  is het thema bij Crazy amigo’s “Scrapkaarten”. Ik heb deze kaart gemaakt met een stempel van Penny Black en prachtig scrappapier van Blonde moments.

Stampotique Design team call!

 

Stampotique heeft al een hele tijd geen designteam call gehad. Maar hier is je kans! Op dit moment zoeken we nieuwe Designteam leden. Onderstaand lees je alle details. Dus gek op deze stempels en altijd al graag lid willen worden van een Designteam, reageer dan nu! Je hoeft voor de projecten die je instuurt niet persé Stampotique stempels te gebruikten, het gaat er om dat deze projecten je stijl en manier van werken laten zien.

Stampotique has not had a design team call in awhile, and we know a lot of you have been asking-so here is your opportunity! We are looking for creative, inspiring, and friendly stampers to help promote Stampotique rubber stamps.
Our call is open to everyone and Stampotique stamps are not required to be used in your submission, but of course we would LOVE to see your use of our stamps.
This call will only be opened for 2 weeks from Saturday, June 23 and closing on Saturday, July 7th. The design term will be August 2012-December 2012.
If you are interested, please read all the information below on what Stampotique is looking for in a designer.

What we are looking for in our Designers:
Love of Stampotique rubber stamps
Ability to work with different challenges
Creative ability to think outside of the box 
Willingness to share your creations on your blog and public galleries

Design Team Requirements:
Commitment to design for 4 months (August 2012 – December 2012)
4 projects per month to be posted on your personal blog and public galleries 
(2 projects are challenges & 2 are anything you wish to create)
Participate in blog hops and sponsored promotions as needed
Post to Stampotique Designers Blog at least once a month (blogger format)
Ability to take good, quality photos of your creations
Must have an active personal blog and be able to promote Stampotique whenever possible
Commenting on challenge participants for our bi-monthly challenges

Stampotique stamps to create with (you will get to choose which ones you would like to work with)
Name and a Link to your blog will be displayed on our blogs
Display the Stampotique Design Team badge on your blog

Calender juni 2012

Eindelijk tijd gehad om mijn juni pagina’s van de jaarkalender op de foto te zetten. Lekkere frisse kleuren, een achtergrond gemaakt met panpastels en distressinkt. De tekening heb ik gemaakt tijdens de Artjouraling workshop van Kate Crane, we MOESTEN tekenen ook al vonden de meesten van ons dat superspannend en we MOESTEN onze tekening gebruiken in onze artjournals 🙂 Hij is getekend met links (terwijl ik rechts ben), dat helpt volgens Kate om te voorkomen dat je teveel na gaat denken, dus meer intuïtief tekent. Eigenlijk vind ik hem wel grappig geworden dus het was geen straf om hem een keertje in mijn journal te gebruiken…

Finally I found the time to make a photo of my june calender pages. I used fresh colours, a background made with panpastels and distressink. I made the drawing at Kate’s artjournaling workshop. She MADE us draw, altough most of us were very reluctant at start and we HAD TO use our drawing for a journalpage 🙂 It’s drawn lefthanded (I am righthanded), Kate said it would help us not to think to much while drawing. Actually I like how it turned out so I love to use it for these pages…

Crazy amigo’s “Summercolours”

Vandaag aan mij de eer om Crazy amigo’s te hosten. Hoewel nog lang geen zomer hier, heb ik gekozen voor zomerse kleuren (rood, oranje, geel) als thema. Deze kaart heb ik gemaakt met distressinkten en de volgende Stampotique stempels: Living is not enough, Gog lin, Gobby lin, Daisy daisy, Dream definition en Dream in color.

It’s up to me this week to host Crazy amigo’s. Although the weather isn’t at all like it’s almost summer here I chose summer colours (red, orange, yellow) as this week’s theme. I made this card with distressinks and these Stampotique stamps: Living is not enough, Gog lin, Gobby lin, Daisy daisy, Dream definition and Dream in color.

Dit is de derde week dat Stampotique Less is more sponsort. Deze week is het thema “Something shiny”. Ik heb voor het glimmereffect de blaadjes gestempeld met Versamarck en toen bewerkt met Perfect pearls. Dit zijn de Stampotique stempels die ik voor mijn kaart gebruikt heb: Leaf en Hopi Prayer.
