Deze 2 atc’s heb ik gemaakt voor een van mijn stempelmaatjes. Alle stempels die ik gebruikt heb zijn van Stampotique. De achtergrond heb ik gemaakt met distressinkten.

Stampotique ‘Word up weekend’

Stampotique heeft zoveel prachtige tekststempels. Vanaf nu promoot het designteam deze elke zaterdag op de Stampotique facebook groep. Dit is de kaart die ik voor deze week gemaakt heb.

Stampotique  has so many wonderful word stamps. From this month on the Stampotique DT promotes them every saturday on the Stampotique facebook group. Here is what I came up with for this week.

Weer een postcard van mij vandaag. Deze keer met het thema “reizen”. De achtergrond is gemaakt met distressinkt.

Eyes of the soul

Deze postcard heb ik gemaakt voor de Craftorij zomerchallenge. Het thema was emotie. De stempels die ik gebruikte zijn van Artjourney. De achtergrond is gemaakt met brusho.

Stampotique designers challenge “Halloween” step by step

Vandaag is de start van een nieuwe Stampotique designers challenge. Halloween is het thema. Ik heb gewerkt in mijn kleine artjournal. Dit zijn de Stampotique stempels die ik gebruikt heb: Mokiwea, Kitty cube, Heads, Cracks, Three greetings. Onder dit bericht vind je een stap voor stap beschrijving van hoe ik deze pagina gemaakt heb. Daarin werd ik geïnspireerd door het boek Taking flight van Kelly Rae Robberts. Natuurlijk vinden we het leuk als jij ook meedoet met deze challenge! Je kunt dan aan het einde van de maand de gelukkige winnaar zijn van een kadobon van 30 dollar waarmee je naar eigen keuze Stampotique stempels uit kunt zoeken.

Today it’s the start of a new Stampotique designers challenge. Halloween is the theme. I worked in my small artjournal. These are the Stampotique stamps I used: Mokiwea, Kitty cube, Heads, Cracks, Three greetings. Below you find a step by step tutorial for this pages. Kelly Rae Robberts book Taking flight inspired me to use this technique.  Of course we love you tot join in! At the end of the month you can be the lucky winner of a 30 dollar gift certificate.

Stap 1/step 1

Knip lichte kleuren papier (scrapboek, boekpagina’s etc.) in stukjes van verschillende grootte en plak en op elkaar een beetje overlappend/Take different sorts of light colored paper (scrapbook, bookpages etc.) and cut them in different size pieces. Glue them onto you pages slightly overlapping

Stap2/Step 2

Kleur de achtergrond lichtjes met 2 kleuren lichte verf en een brayer. Laat drogen/color your background lightly with two colors of acrylic paint and a brayer. Let dry

Stap 3/step 3

Smeer hier en daar lichtjes wat distressinkt op je achtergrond (ik gebruikte Hickory smoke en brushed corduroy) direct met het inktkussen/ Add some distressinks to your background (I used Hickory smoke and Brushed cordyroy) straight from your inkpads.

Stap 4/step 4

Smeer de inkt met je vingers uit/spread the ink by using your fingers

Stap 5/step 5

Stempel de hoofden op boekpapier, knip uit. plak op en kleur lichtjes in met distressinkt. Doe hetzelfde met de tekststempel/stamp the headstamp on bookpapier, cut out, glue down and color lightly with your distressinks. Do the same with the wordstamp.

Stap 6/step 6

Stempel hier en daar met de crackle stempel en maak spetters met zwarte inkt/stamp the crackle stamp on some parts of your background and add the splashes with black ink.

Stap 7/step 7

Kleur de afbeeldingen in met distressinkt, knip ze uit en plak ze op/ color the images with distressinks, cut them out and blue them to your pages.

Ik blijf deze tekst van Stampers Anonymous zo geweldig vinden. En de  grappige birdstempels natuurlijk ook.
