Sunday postcard art “Insects”

Hier is mijn bijdrage voor SPA deze week. Ik heb de achtergrond van deze postcard gemaakt met distressinkten. Daarna gestempeld met Stazon en delen ontkleurd met chloor.

Here is my entry for SPA this week. I made the background with distressinks. I stamped with Stazon en took colour in some parts away with bleach.

Theme thursday “Beauty”

Hier is mijn bijdrage voor Theme thursday deze week. Een beetje andere invulling van het thema “Beauty”. De natuurstempels zijn van een nieuwe sheet van Paper Artsy en de prachtige tekst is van Impression Obsession. In de achtergrond zitten perfect pearls verwerkt maar dat zie je op de scan niet.

Here is my entry for Theme thursday this week. A bit of a twist to the “Beauty” theme. The flower and bird stamps are from a new Paper Artsy sheet and the wonderful quote is form Impression Obsession. I used perfect pearls in the background but you can’t see that on the scan.

Wednesdaystamper “Hip to be square”

 

Voor deze atc’s heb ik Paperwhimsy plaatjes gebruikt. Ze zijn de 1e twee uit een serie van 9 die ik van plan ben om te maken. Vanwege de vierkantjes passen ze mooi bij het Wednesdaystamper thema van deze week.

I made these atc’s with Paperwhimsy images. The are the 1th two out of a series op 9 I’m planning to make. Because of the squares they fit in this weeks’ Wednesdaystamper theme.

Crazy amigo’s “zee en strand”/Crazy amigo’s “sea and beach”

Ik heb deze week voor Crazy amigo’s een thema gekozen waar ik gek op ben, zee en strand. Voor deze kaart heb ik een nieuwe stempel gebruikt (Listen..) die ik op het Art Specially event heb gekocht. Ik vond hem meteen prachtig. De stempel van de dames in badpak is van Queens dressers drawers. Ik heb de kaart ingekleurd met potlood en terpentine.

I chose one of my favorite themes this week for Crazy amigo’s, sea and beach. For this card I used a new stamp (Listen…) that I bought at the Art Specially event. I love it the minute I saw it. The ladies in bathing suit is a Queens dressers drawers stamp. I coloured the stamps with pencil and turpentine.

Gothic arches “Home sweet home”

Het is echt een eeuwigheid geleden dat ik aan Gothic arches heb meegedaan, maar deze week is het er dan eindelijk weer eens van gekomen. Voor deze kaart heb ik de geweldige nieuwe stempelsheet van Joan gebruikt. Ingekleurd met aquarelverf en gestempeld met distressinkt.

It’s been ages since I joined in at Gothic arches, but today I finally made an arch again. For this card I used the marvelous new stamp sheet from Joan. I coloured the stamps wit watercolour paint and stamped with distressink.

Sunday postcard art “there is…”

Weer een superleuk thema bij SPA deze week! “There is no business like showbusiness”. Ik heb deze eenvoudige postcard gemaakt voor dit thema. In zwart gestempeld en met rood kleurpotlood ingekleurd. Voor de filmstrip heb ik de sizzix mal van Tim Holtz gebruikt.

Nog een recept; another recipe

Ook dit recept heb ik gemaakt voor de receptenswap. De stempels die ik gebruikt heb zijn van Oxford Impressions. Voor het graan heb ik “Wild honey” gebruikt, een nieuwe kleur distressinkt waar ik meteen helemaal weg van was.

I made this recipe just like the other one I posted lately for a recipe swap. I used Oxford Impressions stamps. For the weath I used “Wild honey”, a new colour distressink that I love the moment I saw it.
