Sunday postcard art “fish”

De laatste tijd komt er op een of andere manier van stempelen niet zoveel. Maar vanochtend heb ik toch even tijd en zin gevonden om deze bijdrage aan SPA te maken.  De achtergrond is gemaakt met acrylverf, gesso en lumière. De plaatjes zijn van Paperwhimsy.

Somehow I don’t seem to find the time for stamping lately. But this morning I made this entry for SPA. I used acrylic paints, gesso and lumière for the background. The images are from paperwhimsy.

Winter wonderland “Home..”

Een “cute” kaart deze week als bijdrage voor Winter wonderland. Kwam bij het doorzoeken van mijn la met kerststempels deze stempel tegen en die past goed bij het thema.

A “cute” card this week for Winter wonderland. When searching through my drawer with Christmas stamps I found this one and I think it fits the theme well.

Hier is mijn bijdrage voor Gothic arches. Dit prachtige plaatje is van Paperwhimsy. Voor de achtergrond heb ik distressinkt gebruikt.

TGIF “A day at the beach”

Het is al weer even geleden dat ik mee heb gedaan aan TGIF maar het thema van deze week kon ik niet laten lopen. Het is een van mijn favoriete thema’s. De stempels zijn van Oxford Impressions en Time to stamp.

Winter wonderland “twinkle”

Het is zo balen dat mijn scanner precies mijn lievelingskleuren zo moeilijk scand. Dit is mijn bijdrage voor Winter wonderland. De kaart met de alcoholinkt komt er nog goed gescand doorheen, maar de cardstock die ik gebruikt heb is in het echt mooi subtiel paars en bijpassend en komt op de scan over als een beetje vies grijs-paars maar beter krijg ik hem niet.

I hate it that my scanner isn’t scanning my favourite colours very well lately. This is my entry for Winter wonderland this week. The alcoholink card shows well but the cardstock that I used is beautiful subtle and matching purple in real. On the scan it looks like some kind of dirty grey-purple colour.

Sunday postcard art “Nursery rhymes”

Net terug van vakantie dus heerlijk om weer eens in mijn stempelhokje te kunnen duiken. Hier is mijn bijdrage voor Sunday postcard art. Het thema deze week is “kinderliedjes”. Ik heb gekozen voor “Klein klein kleutertje..” Met dank aan Nans voor dit geweldige plaatje. De stempels die ik gebruikt heb zijn van Paperbag studios en Penny Black. Ik heb Adirondack inkt gebruikt. Helaas gaat mijn scanner weer een beetje zijn eigen gang met de kleuren.

Home from vacation just this weekend, so it’s wonderful to be in my craftroom again. Here is my entry for Sunday postcard art. This weeks theme is “Nursery rhymes”. I chose a song from my childhood. It’s about a toddler secretly picking all the flowers in her fathers garden. Courtesy to Nans for this wonderful image. I used Paperbag studio stamps and Adirondack ink. My scanner altered the colours a little I’m afraid, in real they are a bit more subtle.

Om nog maar even in de vakantiestemming te blijven deze tag. Gemaakt op grungeboard met als thema reizen. De auto hem ik gestempeld op krimpplastic.

To stay in vacation atmosphere this tag. I made it on grungeboard and the theme is travel. I stamped the car on shrinkplastic.
