Stampotique designer’s challenge “Under the sea”

Deze week heeft Arwen het leuke thema “Under the sea” bedacht voor de Stampotique designer’s challenge. Tijd om de zeemeermin stempels die ik al even niet meer gebruikt had weer tevoorschijn te halen. Dit zijn de Stampotique stempels die ik gebruikt heb: Seaweed, Smushallaum, Go confidently. De achtergrond heb ik gemaakt met alcoholinkt en yupopapier. Ik heb het boekje van Eefke Moes er ter inspiratie en voor de techniek erbij gehaald, maar ook dan valt het nog niet mee om een beetje gecontroleerd te werken. Natuurlijk zien we ook graag jouw “Under the sea” kaarten of projecten. Als je meedoet aan onze challenge maak je bovendien aan het einde van de maand kans om een van de 2 gelukkige winnaars van een kadobon van 30 dollar te zijn waarmee je naar eigen keus Stampotique stempels uit kunt zoeken.

This week Arwen set the fun theme “Under the sea” for the  Stampotique designer’s challenge. Time to take out one of my mermaid stamps that I did not use for a while. These are all the Stampotique stamps I used: Seaweed, Smushallaum, Go confidently. I made the background with alcoholink on yupopaper. I was inspired by a book from Eefke Moes, but it’s not easy to work with this technique en control the endresult. Of course we would love to see your “Under the sea” cards and projects, so please join us in this challenge. Vandaag een eenvoudige kaart die ik gemaakt heb met een restje alcoholinkt papier. De mensen die mijn blog volgen weten dat ik gek op tekststempels ben. En dit vond ik weer zo’n prachtige! (zo mooi zelfs dat ik hem per ongeluk 2 keer heb gekocht :-))

Stampotique designer’s challenge “Pink, turquoise and polkadots”

Voor de nieuwe Stampotique designer’s challenge van deze week is het thema “Pink, turquoise and polkadots”. Ik heb het eenvoudig gehouden. Een achtergrond van alcoholinkt en deze Stampotique stempels: Simplicity, Dandelion duo. Doe ook mee en laat ons je mooie creaties zien. When nothing is sure …

Dit is een achtergrond die ik tijdens eens workshop alcoholinkt en yupo papier van Eefke Moes gemaakt heb. In eerste instantie vond ik de achtergrond mislukt, maar ik heb hem toch niet weggegooid. Deze week kwam ik hem weer tegen en vond ik hem toch ineens mooi. En toen heb ik hem dus afgemaakt met de tekst en er een kaart van gemaakt voor iemand die aan een nieuwe carrièrestap begint. Daar vond ik deze mooi tekst van Penny Black goed bij passen.

This is a background I made during a workshop alcoholink and yupo paper form Eefke Moes. At first I did not like it at all, but I save it from the bin and put it away. This week I saw it again and suddenly liked it. So I finished it by adding the words and made it into a card for someone who has to find a new career.  I love this quote for the occasion.
