Stampotique Designer’s challenge “Polka dot”

Hier mijn bijdrage voor de Stampotique designer’s challenge. Deze week is het thema “Polka dots”. Ik ben nog steeds helemaal verliefd of de hondjes van Daniël Torrente uit de nieuwe release. Dit zijn alle Stampotique stempels die ik voor deze kaart gebruikt heb: Dog cube, Altered XOXO, Joy definition. Natuurlijk vinden we het heel leuk als je weer mee doet, dus laat ons je polka dot creaties zien. Aan het einde van de maand kun je dan ook nog eens de gelukkige winnaar van een kadobon van 30 dollar zijn voor je eigen keuze aan Stampotique stempels.

Here is my entry for the new  Stampotique designer’s challenge. This weeks’ theme is “Polka dots”. I’m still madly in love with Daniël Torrente’s dogs from the new release. These are all the Stampotique stamps I used for my card:  Dog cube, Altered XOXO, Joy definition. Of course we would love it when you join in, so show us your polka dot creations. Deze kaart heb ik gemaakt met een gelliplate achtergrond. Heel eenvoudig, zo’n achtergrond heeft ook niet veel nodig. De prachtige tekst is van Impression obsession.

I made this card with a gelliplate background. Very simple, but that’s all a gelliplate background needs I think. The wonderful quotestamp is from Impression obsession.

Stampotique designer’s challenge “it’s spring”

Alweer woensdag dus tijd voor een nieuwe Stampotique designer’s challenge. Deze week is het thema “it’s spring”. Ik heb een diorama kaart gemaakt. Natuurlijk heb ik alleen Stampotique stempels gebruikt:  Medium bee , Hexagon, Fly word, Daisy daisy, Splatter long, Splatter blob, Word collage. Graag zien we ook jullie bijdragen geïnspireerd door dit thema en de voorbeelden van het designteam. Als je meedoet maak je bovendien aan het einde van de maand kans op een kadobon van 30 dollar waarmee je je eigen Stampotique stempels uit kunt zoeken.

Een van de weinige nadelen van workshops geven op het Artspecially event is dat je zelf geen workshops kunt volgen. Gelukkig is er dit jaar weer een boekje waarin alle technieken van de workshops beschreven staan. Er staan ook prachtige voorbeelden in. Dus de stap voor stap beschrijving in dit boekje maakte ik deze kaart met de techniek die Hermine en Jeanette voor hun workshop gebruikten. Heb je het boekje nog niet? Echt de moeite waard om te kopen!

One of the few disadvantages of giving workshops at the Artspecially event is that you cannot do workshops yourself. So it’s wonderful that there is a book in which all the worskhops are discribed with wonderful sample cards as a bonus. I made this card following the step by step description for Hermine’s and Jeanette’s workshop. The book is really worth buying. Although it’s in Dutch it gives clear step by step photo’s for all the techniques used.
