Make a moo “favourite colour”

Deze week is het thema bij make a moo or two “favoriete kleur”. Ik vind heel veel kleuren mooi om mee te werken en grijp soms in periodes naar bepaalde kleuren, maar een van mijn alltime favorieten blijft toch altijd weer paars. Vandaar dat ik deze kleur voor dit thema gekozen heb. De achtergrond is gemaakt met glimmermist en embossing. De kleuren komen op de scan niet helemaal goed over jammer genoeg. Het lijkt meer blauw dan paars.

This weeks theme at make a moo or two is “favourite colour”. I love many colours to work with and some periods I use certain colours more than others, but one of my alltime favourites is purple. That’s why I chose this colour for this theme. The background is made with glimmermist and embossing. The scan doesn’t show the colours too well unfortunately. It rather seems blue than purple.

Techniekenswap met Jeanette.

Met Jeanette doe ik een techniekenswap. Elke maand maken we een 10×10 met een bepaalde techniek en een bepaald thema. Deze maand was de techniek maskeren en sponzen en het thema kinderen. Dit is wat ik er van gemaakt heb. Voor de achtergrond heb ik Versamagic inkt gebruikt en voor het inkleuren van de stempels aquarelverf.

I’m involved in a techniqueswap with Jeanette. Each month we make a 4″x4″ with a certain technique and theme. This month the technique was masking and sponging and the theme children. This is what I made of it. For the background I used Versamagic ink and I coloured the stamps with watercolour paint.

Voorjaarsbloemen/Springflowers

    

Deze 2 atc’s heb ik gemaakt voor een swap met het thema “voorjaarsbloemen”. De achtergronden zijn gemaakt met de paintdaubers van Adirondack en daarna bestempeld met Stazon. De bloemenplaatjes heb ik nog van de tijd dat ik heeeeeel lang geleden intussen 3D-kaarten maakte.

I made these 2 atc’s for a swap with “springflowers” as a theme. I made the backgrounds with Adirondack paintdaubers and stamped with Stazon. The flowerimages date from the time I made 3D-cards a very long time ago by now.

Gothic arches “History”

Dit is mijn bijdrage voor http://gothicarches.wordpress.com/ deze week. Het thema is history en ik heb dat vertaald in klassiek auto’s en reizen. De achtergrond is gemaakt met distress inkt. De autostempels zijn van B-line.

4×4 friday “Watercolours”

“Watercolours” is het thema deze week bij 4x4friday. Ik vind het heerlijk om met waterverf te werken, voor het inkleuren van stempels of net als hier voor achtergronden. Ik heb de waterverf weinig verdund en daarna snel met de heattool gedroogd. Op die manier blijft de kleur vrij intensief. De stempel is van Paperbag studios en het plaatje van Paper whimsy.

“Watercolours” is this weeks theme at 4x4friday. I love to work with watercolour paint. I use it for colouring my stamps or as I did here for making backgrounds. I used just a little bit of water and dried with a heattool. This way the colours stay quit intense. The stamp is from Paperbag studios and the image from Paper whimsy.

Skinny saturday “Sitting pretty”

Dit is mijn bijdrage voor skinny saturday deze week. Voor de achtergrond van deze skinny heb ik een stukje behangpapier met bloemmotief gebruikt. Het plaatje is van Paper whimsy.
