Less is more “Thank you”

Het is zaterdag dus weer tijd voor Less is more. Hoewel dit kaartje er misschien ingewikkeld uitziet is het dat zeker niet. Stampotique’s Weasel en de bloemenstempel met zwarte inkt gestempeld en ingekleurd met aquarelverf. Dat is alles.

It’s saturday so time for Less is more. Although this card might look a bit complicated at first glance it certainly isn’t.  I stamped Stampotique’s Weasel and the flowerstamp with black ink. Coloured it with watercolor paint and that’s it.

2 hearts

Op de dag van het Britse koninklijke huwelijk is zo’n zoet kaartje met 2 harten wel op zijn plaats leek me 🙂

On the day of the Britsh royal marriage I suppose this sweet card with 2 hearts might be suitable 🙂

There is a garden…

 

Voor degenen die mijn blog vaker bezoeken zal het geen verrassing zijn dat ik gek ben op het maken van puzzelstukken. Dit is een puzzelstuk waarvan ik de achtergrond gemaakt heb met distressinkten en een crafters template. De stempels zijn allemaal van Stampotique: Wed, There is a garden …, Heart flowers en Word collage. Ook voor het inkleuren van de meisjestempel en de hartjes heb ik distressinkt gebruikt. Op de 2e foto kun je in detail zien hoe ik de bloemetjes template heb gebruikt voor de achtergrond. Klik op de foto’s om ze te vergroten.

If you visit my blog more often you know I love altering puzzle pieces. For this one I made the background with distressinks and a crafters template. Alle stamps are Stampotique: Wed, There is a garden …, Heart flowers and Word collage. I coloured the girlimage and the heartflowers with distressink too. Stampotique designer’s challenge “Cardsketch”

Tijd voor een nieuwe Stampotique designer’s challenge. Deze keer is de eer aan Kim om te hosten en zij heeft een prachtige kaartschets gemaakt. Het is de laatste woensdag van de maand. Dat betekent dat je alleen  Stampotique stempels mag gebruiken. Ga lekker aan de slag, zoals altijd kun je weer een kadobon van 30 dollar winnen. Crazy amigo’s “Boys”

Toen ik zag dat Audrey “Boys” als thema voor deze week gekozen had voor Crazy amigo’s wist ik meteen dat ik deze jongensstempel van Lost Coast wilde gbruiken. De achtergrond heb ik gemaakt met sprayinkten van Dylussions en een Crafters template.

When I saw that Audrey chose “Boys” as this week’s Crazy amigo’s theme I instantly knew I wanted to use this Lost Coast boystamp. I made the background with Dylussions sprayinks and a Crafters template.

Nog eentje …/Another one …

Ik moest gewoon nog een kaart maken voor Less is more met dit schattige Stampotique stempeltje. De tekst en de lamp zijn van Hero arts. Ik heb de hele hondenstempel eerst op scrappapier en daarna op crèmekleurig papier gestempeld en alleen het hondje uitgeknipt. Dat heb ik met 3-d tape op de kaart geplakt.

I just had to make another card for Less is more with this cute Stampotique stamp. The sentiment and lamp are from Hero arts. First I stamped the complete dogstamp onto scrapbookpaper. Then I stamped it again on cream paper and cut out the dog. I attached the dog to the card with 3-d tape.

Less is more “Off centre”

Ik heb pas een paar keer meegedaan maar ben al helemaal “verslaafd” aan de Less is more  challenge. Zo ontzettend leuk om al de ingewikkelde stempel en achtergrondtechnieken even los te laten en juist te proberen een sprekende eenvoudige kaart te maken. Voor deze kaart heb ik Hero arts stempels gebruikt.

I joined in only a couple of  times but I’m really “addicted” to the Less is more challenge. It’s so much fun to leave the more complex stamping and background techniques behind for a while and try to make a simple yet powerful card. For this card I used Hero arts stamps.

a little bird …

Nog een vogeltag maar dan een flink aantal maten groter dan de tags van gisteren. De achtergrond heb ik gemaakt met spray inkten en gesso. De plaatjes zijn van Paperwhimsy.

Another birdtag but a couple of sizes bigger than the tags I showed yesterday. I made the background with sprayinks and gesso. The images are Paperwhimsy.
