Stampotique designer’s challenge “Birds and buttons”

Kaz heeft voor de nieuwe Stampotique designer’s challenge een heel leuk thema bedacht “birds and buttons”. Dit is mijn bijdrage in zomerse pastelkleuren. Ik heb gewerkt met distressinkten en Stazon gebruikt om de knopen te bestempelen. Dit zijn de Stampotique stempels die ik voor mijn kaart gebruikt heb: Dream definition, Hope definition, Swirl stalks, Abstract folliage, Fly word en Bird Legs (small). Art journal style tag 2

En ook deze tag heb ik gemaakt voor de “art journal style” tag swap. Bijna dezelfde stempels als de tag die ik 2 dagen geleden plaatste maar nu met een achtergrond van sprayinkten.

Art journal style tag

Deze tag heb ik gemaakt voor een swap. De opdracht was een tag te maken in “art journal stijl”.  Voor de achtergrond heb ik panpastels gebruikt. De stempels zijn van Dylussions en Dina Wakley.

Today is a gift

Ik heb onlangs de Tim Holtz mal gekocht om kado envelopjes mee te maken. Hier is mijn eerste exemplaar. Ik heb er voor in de envelop een passend kaartje bij gemaakt waarop je nog iets kunt schrijven. Dit zijn de Stampotique stempels die ik gebruikt heb: Abstract folliage, Swirl stalks, Best buds en Today is a gift .... Ik heb stempeld met distressinkt en ingekleurd met Tombowstiften.

I recently bought a Tim Holtz die to make gift envelopes with. Here is my first one. I added a matching card tot write a message on. These are the Stampotique stamps I used: Abstract folliage, Swirl stalks, Best buds and Today is a gift .... I stamped with distressinks and coloured the image with Tombow markers.

Notebook

Dit notitieblokje heb ik gemaakt met de techniek die we op het Art specially event dit jaar hebben gebruikt voor de workshop. Gebruik van deze stempels en kleuren is geïnspireerd door het voorbeeld dat Annelies gemaakt heeft voor het Artspecially boekje.

I made this notebook using craftpaper and pencil. I was inspired to use these stamps and colours by a sample card Annelies made for the Artspecially workshop booklet.

Muizenval/Mousetrap

Zag het idee om muizenvallen te bewerken op Hermine’s blog en wist meteen dat ik dat ook wilde gaan doen. Dus met spoed naar de Boerenbond om een paar muizenvallen te scoren. Dit is de eerste die ik gemaakt heb. Nummer 2 is ook al in de maak. Neem zeker ook eens een kijkje op Hermine’s blog, zij heeft er een aantal prachtexemplaren op staan!

Saw the idea to alter a mousetrap on Hermine’s blog  en immediately knew I had to give that a try too. So off to the store to buy some. This is the first one I made. Nummer 2 is already on it’s way. Make sure to go and have a look on Hermine’s blog, she made a number of gorgeous mousetraps!

Stampotique designer’s challenge “use a sentiment”

Alweer de 1e woensdag van de maand dus tijd voor een nieuwe Stampotique designer’s challenge. Deze keer is de opdracht om tenminste een tekststempel te gebruiken. Net als altijd is het de bedoeling dat je alleen Stampotique stempels gebruikt voor deze challenge. Als je meedoet maak je kans om een kadobon van 30 dollar te winnen waarmee je gratis Stampotique stempels kunt uitzoeken. Ik heb voor mijn kaart een spin&splash achtergrond gebruikt.
