Kerstmonstertjes/Christmasmonsters

Ik vind ze zooooo  schattig deze nieuwe Stampotique monsters uit de nieuwe Kira release van november 2011. Voor deze kerstkaarten heb ik ze op gekleurd, bolletjes en wit papier gestempeld en met uitknippen en plakken tot dit uiterlijk gebracht 🙂 Ook de ster is van Stampotique. De achtergrondstempels zijn van Stampington.

I soooooo much love these new Stampotique monsters from the new Kira release from november 2011. For this Christmascards I stamped them on coloured and white paper, cut them out , glued them together until the looked like this 🙂 The star is a Stampotique stamp too. The backgroundstamps are from Stampington.

Crazy amigo’s “Party”

Anne is jarig deze week en maakt er daarom een feestje van bij Crazy amigo’s. Dit is mij bijdrage voor aan de feestvreugde.  Natuurlijk stempels van Stampotique voor dit thema, hoe kan het anders, al een feestje op zichzelf!

Vandaag een art journal pagina die ik dit weekend gemaakt heb. Met dank aan Kate Crane voor haar duidelijke uitleg op de DVD “right from a blank page” en de inspiratie die ze me geeft door haar prachtige werk. Ook de kleurencombinatie heb ik van haar “gejat”. Dylussions verf Magenta, Mustard en Lagoon voor de achtergrond. Ik blijf het nog steeds zoeken vinden, zo’n journal pagina, maar over deze ben ik eerlijk gezegd heel erg tevreden, alles lijkt op zijn plek te vallen. Maar dat is niet zonder slag of stoot gegaan… bij de eerste poging wilde de achtergrond absoluut niet lukken dus uiteindelijk gesso en witte verf erover en opnieuw beginnen.  Stempels die ik voor deze pagina gebruikt heb zijn van Stampotique, Unity Stamps en Dylussions.

Today an art journal page that I made this weekend. With a huge thank you to Kate Crane for her clear explanation on the DVD “right from a blank page” and the inspiration she gives me with her wonderful artwork. I also “borrowed” this colourcombination form her. Dylussions paint in the colours Magenta, Mustard and Lagoon for the background. I still find it quit a challenge to make a journal page, but to be honest I’m quit happy with this one, everything seemed work well with this one. But it wasn’t easy at  the start … my first attempt to make the background wasn’t quit a succes, so I covered it with gesso and white paint and started all over again. I used Stampotique stamps, Unity stamps and Dylussions stamps for this page.

Laugh

De achtergrond van deze tag heb ik gemaakt met Dylussions sprayinkt en rode Stazon inkt. Alle stempels die ik gebruikt heb zijn van Stampotique. Floating dog is van de nieuwe Kira stempels die in november uitgebracht zijn, is ie niet schattig? Verder heb ik nog gebruikt: Dogs laugh, Altered laugh en Hanging hearts. Winter birds

Vandaag een serie van vier kerstkaarten die ik gemaakt heb met Chocolate Baroque stempels. De teksten zijn van Heroarts. Ik heb de stempels ingekleurd met Tombow stiften en heel veel water.

Today four Christmascards that I made with Chocolate Baroque stamps. The sentiments are from Hero arts. I coloured the stamps with Tombow markers and quit some water.

Stampotique designer’s challenge “Non traditional Christmas”

Al weer tijd voor een nieuwe Stampotique designer’s challenge. Omdat het de laatste van de maand is, is het een Stampotique stempels only challenge. Vicki daagt iedereen uit om een niet-traditionele kerstkaart te maken. Belangrijkste regel is dat je geen groen en rood mag gebruiken! Zoals altijd kun je een kadocheque winnen van 30 dollar waarmee je Stampotique stempels kunt uitzoeken.  Voor mijn kaart heb ik de achtergrond gemaakt met distressinkt en een Tim Holtz embossingfolder. Ik heb de distressinkt in de folder gesmeert, besproeid met water en daarna met papier ertussen door de Bigshot gehaald. Ik heb Bella en Brrr uit de september 2011 release gebruikt voor mijn kaart. Time for a new Stampotique designer’s challenge. Because it’s the last challenge of the month, it’s a Stampotique stamps only cahllenge. Vicki challenges you to make a non-traditional Christmascard. Main rule: strictly no green and red! As always you can win a 30 dollar giftcertificatie for a free choice of Stampotique  stamps. I used distressink and a Tim Holtz embossing folder for my card. I put the distressink directly on the inside of the folder, sprayed with a little water, added the paper  and ran  it through the Bigshot. Crazy amigo’s “Ton sur ton” with purple

Deze week mocht ik het thema voor Crazy amigo’s kiezen. Het is “ton sur ton” met paars geworden. Ik heb gewerkt met glimmermist, lumière verf en een crafters workshop template. De stempels zijn (behalve de inspiretekst) van Paperartsy Lynn Perella collectie. Ik ben niet erg tevreden met de foto, het contrast tussen de achtergrond van de kaart en het glimmende deel is veel groter dan in het echt en de kleurnuances vallen wat weg, maar het wilde niet beter lukken ..

It was up to me to choose this week’s Crazy amigo’s theme. It’s “ton sur ton” with purple. I used glimmermist, lumière paint and a crafters workshop template. All stamps (except the inspire word) are form Paperartsy Lynn Perella collection. I’m not satisfied with the picutere, the contrast between the backgroundcard and the glimmery part is much bigger than in real and some colour nuances disappeared, but somehow I couldn’t get it better …

Live in the moment …

Een eenvoudige kaart vandaag met een de achtergrondstempel van Heindesign en stempels van Tim Holtz. Deze tekst vind ik zo mooi (en zo waar!).

A simple card today with the backgroundstamp from Heindesign and Tim Holtz stamps. I love the sentiment (and it’s so true!)
