What’s on your mind

Maandelijks spreken Anne, Audrey, Sija, Willy en ik een thema af voor een art journal pagina. Deze maand was het thema schrijven. Niet een van mijn favorieten. Ik vind mijn handschrift niet artistiek genoeg om er een art journal pagina mee op te leuken. Maar is dat niet de kern van een artjournaling, experimenteren, jezelf uitdagen, uit je comfortzone. Bij het maken van deze pagina en het kiezen van de kleuren heb ik me laten inspirereren door de eerste tekenen van de lente om me heen. Ik vind het zelf wat te rommelig en natuurlijk vind ik mijn handschrift niet mooi, te klein, te gehaast en daardoor moeilijk leesbaar. Ben er dus niet zo heel tevreden over … Kijk vandaag zeker ook op de blogs van de anderen, zij laten hun pagina vandaag ook zien.

With Anne, Audrey, Sija, Willy and I we agree on a monthly theme for an art journal page. This month’s theme was writing. Not one of my favourites. I don’t think my handwriting is classy and artistic enough to add something extra to an art journal. But isn’t art journaling about experimenting, challenging yourself and get out of your comfortzone. When making this page and choosing the colours I was inspired by the first signs of spring all around me. I think my page ended up a bit messy and of course I don’t like the written parts, too tiny, too much in a hurry and difficult to read.
