Deze 10×10 heb ik gemaakt voor mijn maandelijkse techniekswap met Jeanette. Deze maand was de opdracht om te werken met glimmermist en het thema was friends.

I made this 10×10 for my monthly techniqueswap with Jeanette. This month we had to work with glimmermist and the theme was friends.

En dit prachtexemplaar kreeg ik van Jeanette. Zoals altijd is de glimmermist nauwelijks te zien op de scans.

And this is the gorgeous 10×10 I received from Jeanette. As always the glimmermist hardly shows on the scans.

Hebben jullie dat ook dat je een stempel hebt die je ineens bij alles wilt gebruiken? Ik heb dat op dit moment met de tekststempel die ik voor deze zwart-wit mootjes voor make a moo or two heb gebruikt.

Do you recognize that? Rediscovering a stamp that you want to use all of the sudden on all your artwork. That’s what happens to me at the moment with the quotestamp I used of this black&white moos for make a moo or two.

Gesso heeft tegenwoordig een vaste werkplek op mijn werktafel. Ik gebruik het steeds meer. Daarom was het thema van saturdays’workout dikke pret deze week. De achtergrond van deze kaart is beplakt met een pagina uit een tijdschrift die daarna met gesso bewerkt is en vervolgens gesponst.

Gesso has a permanent place on my worktable. I use it more and more. That’s why this weeks saturday’s workout theme was fun for me. The background on this card was made by glueing a magazine page on a piece of paper. Then I covered the whole with gesso and sponged it.

Hier zijn mijn moos voor het thema “oosters” van make a moo or two. Ik heb geen oosterse stempels dus moest dit thema met uitsluitend plaatjes en papier vorm geven.

Here are my moos for this weeks make a moo or two theme “asian”. I don’t have any asian stamps so I had to express the theme with images and paper.

Voor mijn alfabetswap met Nans is dit de volgende letter. De J van “journey”. De tekststempel met het woord Journey hem ik pas bij de Creatie gekocht. Ik vind hem mooi en hij kwam meteen van pas bij deze alfabet tag.

This is the next letter for my alphabetswap with Nans. The J for “journey”.  I bought the quotestamp with the word Journey recently. I love it and it came in handy with this tag.

Met Nans doe ik maandelijks een alfabet-tag swap. Voor de I heb ik deze tags met inchies gemaakt. Een leuke manier om inchies te gebruiken.

Deze tag heb voor saturday’s workout gemaakt. De achtergrond is gemaakt met adirondack stream en lettuce bedekt met een laagje gesso dat ik meteen weer heb weggeveegd.

I made this tag for this week’s saturday’s workout. I made the background with adirondack stream and lettuce covered with a layer of gesso that I wiped away immediately after putting it on.
